Amish Quilt Giveaway and Book Prize Winner!

You all have just been so supportive of me recently that I’m excited to announce my first major giveaway in honor of your generous feedback, encouragement, and inspiring stories.  On May 7, the release day for “Simply Delicious Amish Cooking”, I’ll be selecting one lucky person to win this beautiful hand stitched Amish quilt, made right here in lovely Pinecraft Florida:

Follow the instructions on the RaffleCopter.com widget below to get started!  The winning contestant only needs to:

1) Leave a comment on this blog post (multiple comments do not raise chance of winning)

2) Like me on Facebook (if you’ve liked my page in the past you’re already done with this step–but you can still share my page with a friend!)

And if you have twitter, you can also tweet about the giveaway!

As an additional benefit, I’ll also be handing out a copy of “Simply Delicious Amish Cooking” to whomever wins.

And speaking of winning, I’m happy to announce that…drumroll please…TAMMY COURTS has won the VERY FIRST copy of my book.  Congrats Tammy!  Please email your mailing address to sherry@sherrygore.com and I’ll send you your prize.

    Hi Sherry!
Just watched your Woopie Pie video. Oh my, I can taste them already! I may be more excited about winning the book than the quilt. Anyway, I’m looking forward to getting your book…and the quilt if I win. If not, guess I’ll just have to fetch my own copy – can’t pass up those Woopie Pies! Mmm…

As a single mother of 4, my funds are limited and have always made homemade gifts for Christmas, birthdays, etc. I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteo Arthritis; had a tumor removed from my spinal cord; two lower back surgeries and cannot sit and sew any longer. My eyes are leaking as I relate this to you. Please know that I have followed and respect your progress in cooking as well as quilting. Beautiful work comes from beauty within. Thank you for your creations.

  6. I’M DISAPOINTED THAT I WAS TOO LATE TO ENTER THE CONTEST FOR THE QUILT MADE BY THE AMISH . I LOVE THE RECIPIES IN THE COOKBOOKS OF AMISH COOKING. LOTS OF THE RECIPES WERE THE SAME ONES MY GRANDMOTHER HAD. THEY ARE SO FAMILIER AND ARE TRULY THE BEST EVER PUT TOGETHER. THANKS FOR THE OPPERTUNITY TO WRITE.

I am a quilter, although I am NOT an accomplished quilter. I cheat, by this I mean I use a long arm to do the actual quilting. I have been to Lancaster, PA and love the Amish and their quilts. I have one corner of my family room decorated with a picture my sis painted of Amish dolls with a quilt. I would sure love to win this quilt to go in that corner.

Sorry, I see now the contest is over, I was too excited about it to read fully the rules, LOL
